THE LUMOS PROGRAMS
We work with students from many different cultures. We work with families who are new to Thailand, and families who have moved several times with students who find school harder than it should be.
Families who move between countries face challenges that other families do not. Your child may have studied in two or three different school systems. A report written in one country may not be accepted in another. And when it is time to choose a university, you may be looking at several countries at once.
Every service below is designed for that situation.

Highlands Ability Battery

Your teenager can tell you what they enjoy. They cannot tell you what they are naturally good at — nobody can measure that in themselves. This assessment does. Instead of asking questions, it has your teenager complete nineteen short timed tasks online and measures how easily they do each one. Then it matches their results to fifty real careers that suit them.
For ages 15 and above, including university students and adults.

1. Take the assessment. Your teenager completes it online at home, in about three hours. They can stop and start as often as they like. There is no travel and no appointment, and nothing can be failed.
2. Receive the results. A detailed report of their natural abilities and working and learning style, plus a list of fifty real careers matched to their particular combination of strengths.
3. Meet together. A two-hour session where a certified consultant goes through everything in depth and talks about what it means for subject choices, university courses, and the kind of work that would suit them.
This last step matters most. A report on its own is a document nobody knows how to use.

An optional session for parents is available, so you have the same picture your teenager does. Useful when a family is not yet in agreement about the future.
Turnaround is about 10-14 working days between finishing the assessment and your results session.

Our 6-week coaching program helps students build essential executive functioning skills for academic success and adulthood. Many students face challenges with organization, time management, task completion, and self-regulation, which can affect their confidence and achievement. Our program offers personalized support, practical applications, and accountability to foster lasting habits that promote long-term success.
